| Project Objective | The overall objective of this project is to promote effective land utilisation in Kosovo in order to support the development of a viable agricultural sector. It specifically aims at implementing the regulations of the Law on Agricultural Land, promoting land consolidation, supporting spatial and environmental planning as well as land market development. |

- Drafting of administrative instructions (AI) that support the implementation of regulations stated in the Law on Agricultural Land (i.e. AI on Change of Use of Agricultural Land, on Recultivation of Agricultural Land, on Protection of Agricultural Land from Erosion; on Fertility Control of Agricultural Land, on Use of Pastures);
- Training of municipal and ministerial staff on how to implement the Law on Agricultural Land;
- Analysis of structures and conditions for lease of agricultural land in Kosovo;
- Drafting of model lease contracts and provision of training for municipal staff on how to conclude a contract;
- Elaboration of valuation standards for agricultural land;
- Development of a privatisation concept for a ‘socially owned enterprise’ in the Dragash Municipality;
- Analysis of soil pollution.
